Child Care Needs Survey

Child Care Needs Survey
September 9, 2020

Dear Parents:

The COVID-19 impact on our schools and communities has affected the child care needs of families across the county. Now that we are approaching the new school year, we are here to help those families who are in need of child care given the adopted district schedule with hybrid learning, in response to the pandemic. As we continue our preparations to serve children and families during the school reopening we need to assess the child care needs of our families. Financial assistance is available! In order to assess the need for child care and the need for financial assistance to pay for child care in Chautauqua County we are asking families to complete the following survey:

Child Care Needs Survey

Upon completing the survey, if you have an immediate child care need, you will be contacted for assistance in finding (& paying for) child care. We want families to be assured that when they put their children in care that the environment is going to be clean and safe for their children to attend. Child Care is a safe place for children to be, as precautions to ensure the programs are clean and sanitized are being taken, but also to tend to their social, emotional and physical needs to ensure their safety.

Families who are in immediate need of child care are encouraged to contact the Child Care Council Resource and Referral Specialist who can assist with finding quality child care. You may reach out to the Child Care Council by filling out the Child Care Needs Survey (link above) for any child care needs or at 1-800-424-4532 or childcare@chautopp.org
