2018-2019 Supply Lists for Silver Creek Elementary School
Kindergarten:
Please bring the following with you to the Meet-and-Greet set Sept. 1, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. OR on the first day of school.
1 backpack (no wheels please)
1 art smock (an adult's old T-shirt works great)
1 plastic pocket folder with prongs inside 
20 glue sticks
10 new pencils (sharpened, please)
2 boxes crayons (24 pack or smaller, please)
1 box of markers (boys please bring one box of fat markers; girls please bring one box of skinny markers. Crayola is preferred. RoseArt's caps are hard to take off.)
4 dry erase markers
1 yellow highlighter
1 box of tissues
1 box of baby wipes
1 box of Ziploc baggies (boys please bring 1 box of gallon size; girls please bring one box of quart size)
Sneakers (which should be worn daily for general safety)
A beach towel, for rest time (September and October only)
A spare outfit in case of spills or accidents (Please include a fresh pair of socks, underwear, shirt, and pants in a clear Ziploc gallon-size bag, labeled with your child's first AND last name)
Crayon box (hard case)
PARENTS please label ONLY the following items with your child's first and last names: backpack, art smock, extra clothing bag, crayons, pocket folder and spiral notebook (preferably the inside, as I will label the outside with a sticker.)
 
First Grade:
36 yellow, sharpened No. 2 pencils 
4 large glue sticks
1 plain 1" clear view 3-ring binder*
Kids' scissors*
2 black Expo low-odor dry erase markers
2 boxes Crayola crayons (24)*
1 box Crayola 12 colored pencils or a package of Crayola Twistables*
2 boxes tissues
3 plastic folders with pockets and brads in the middle*
1 box gallon size Ziploc bags (boys only)
1 box quart size Ziploc bags (girls only)
3 packages index cards
1 supply box (to keep crayons and pencils in; about 8.5 inches long)*

Second Grade: 
40 pencils

1 package Crayola colored pencils

1 three-ring binder
1 package of pencil cap erasers
4 plastic folders with pockets and brads in the middle. Please get the following colors: RED, YELLOW, GREEN and BLUE
2 spiral notebooks
1 pair of scissors
2 boxes of Kleenex
1 box gallon Ziploc bags (boys)
1 box quart size Ziploc bags (girls)
Art smock

Please make sure that all of your child's school supplies are labeled (except pencils) with their name.

  • 2 - 1 inch view binder with pockets

Fourth Grade:
One 3-ring binder with inside pockets and clear-view cover (any color, this goes between home and school. No Trapper Keeper)
4 pocket folders, plastic with prongs (any color, one for math, one for ELA, one for reading)

1 box of markers
1 box of colored pencils
1 box of crayons
5 glue sticks (no bottles)
3 boxes facial tissues
1 block eraser
2 spiral notebooks wide-ruled/1 subject any color

*If you child tends to be rough on materials such as binders, feel free to take advantage of the back-to-school sales to get extra items.
