A Message from the Silver Creek High School Principal
Dear Silver Creek Black Knight Families,
Happy New Year! As we step into 2025, we are excited for the fresh opportunities this new year brings. It’s a time to reflect on the successes and challenges of the fall and look forward to the growth, achievements and learning ahead. We look to the new year refreshed and ready for all that is to come.
As we begin this new year, we are proud of the achievements from the fall. Our students participated in many activities, including student clubs, sports, and community circles. Our students showed incredible dedication to the activities they participated in throughout the fall. Fall sports included soccer boys and girls, unified bocce ball, football, cross country, volleyball, and cheerleading. All of our teams demonstrate talent and perseverance, as well as committing to the values of teamwork, resilience and school spirit that make Silver Creek so special.
Homecoming Week was a special time at SCHS, a celebration of school spirit. The spirit week festivities culminated in a pep rally for all athletes, a football game, and a bonfire. The weekend continued with a wonderful homecoming dance with a Hollywood theme! And, the Holiday Concert was a truly joyful celebration of the season, so many talented students involved in our music program. The performances were a reminder of the incredible talent at our school and the commitment of our students and educators to creativity and excellence.
Looking ahead, we remain focused on continuing the important work of creating a learning environment that encourages deep learning and intellectual curiosity. Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to helping students achieve all they can through engaging classroom lessons and extracurricular activities. Attendance is critical to student learning and engagement here at school, and we look forward to seeing your student each and every day!
Together, we enter 2025 with a renewed commitment to providing a nurturing and dynamic environment where every student can learn, grown, and succeed. Thank you for your continued partnership as we work to create the possible educational experience for our students.
Wishing you and your family a happy, healthy, and successful New Year!
Warm regards,
Wendy Harrod
