ribbon shirts

Jesse Bomberry, Trenton Logan, and Simon White recently completed their ribbon shirt project in Ms. Tahamont’s Seneca 5 class. The students learned how to follow a pattern, use a rotary tool, lay down the ribbon, a continuous lap, add collars and cuffs, sew and do a hem, all while learning Seneca.

It was a tedious process. The snow days and holiday breaks set them back, but the students persevered and finished the project. A special thanks to Mrs. Huff for showing the class how to make the buttonholes.
