The 2026 High School Yearbook Sale is scheduled to begin Sunday, October 12, at the Early Bird price of $70 for two weeks, to Saturday, October 25. After the 25th, the price will increase to $80 through January 18, 2026.

This week's #SeniorSunday spotlight is on Lio Hammer, who had the incredible opportunity to spend a week this past July with students from all over the nation at the ACLU National Advocacy Institute, attending multiple elective classes that discussed major topics of student interest and how to become change-makers. Lio was able to hear from experts on student rights, get out the vote, presidential administrations and how their decisions affect students, 1st Amendment rights, the use of AI, Social media content & platforms and what Gen-Z can do to create change.
Lio had the opportunity to hear from lawyers who have argued in the Supreme Court, as well as had the opportunity to write and deliver letters to lawmakers on Capitol Hill. Lio's favorite part was the unique opportunity to meet students from all over the country and to see how many incredible people who want to make a difference. Lio's eventual goal is to study philosophy and history before attending law school to become a Human Rights Lawyer after graduation.

This week's #SaturdayMorningShoutOut is for Courtney McIntyre!! Mrs. McIntyre is a 6th grade ELA teacher at Silver Creek Middle School who creates an inclusive environment that is inviting and filled with learning beyond the rules of English! She collaborates with colleagues in unique ways and is a lifelong learner who extends that passion to lifting her students to new levels in their our learning journey. Join us in celebrating Homecoming 2025 with the Silver Creek High School Homecoming Parade! The parade will be held on Friday, October 10th and is proudly organized by ex officio Board Member Molly Shaw and Student Council. There will be a competition between the grade levels based on the grades’ participation/attendance and float design/theme. Community organizations are also invited to enter a float in the parade.
Friday will be a day jam packed with exciting events as it the last day of spirit week! The Homecoming football game will kickoff at 7:00pm with senior recognition at 6:40pm. The community is invited to come enjoy the parade at 4:30 pm and show off their school spirit at the football game later!
